Upcoming layings of Stolpersteine in Frankfurt

Stolperstein layings in June 2024

the next settings of Stumbling Stones in Frankfurt are planned for June, 16th to 19th, 2024. On these four days about 100 new Stolpersteine will be installed in the neighborhoods of Bahnhofsviertel, Bornheim, Ginnheim, Innenstadt, Nordend, Ostend, Riederwald, Sachsenhausen, and Westend

Public event: 20 years of Stolpersteine in Frankfurt am Main, November 30, 2023

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first laying of Stolpersteine in Frankfurt am Main, a public event was held at the Historisches Museum on November 30, 2023:

Art and Memory - 20 Years of Stumbling Stones in Frankfurt am Main, 23 Years of the Library of Generations.

In addition to a review of 20 years of Stolpersteine in Frankfurt, there was a panel discussion on both art and remembrance projects with Gunter Demnig (artist and creator of the Stolpersteine), Jan Gerchow (Historisches Museum), Astrid Erll (Goethe University Frankfurt) and members of the Initiative Stolpersteine, among others.
